Nagarkot Hill(2175m) is a popular tourist hill of Nepal. It is situated 32 km east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2175m.The sunrise viewed from this hill present you the ever-refreshing memory of the majestic panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges from Dhaulagiri in the west and Mt. Everest in the east. On the way you can observe the historic and cultural town at Changunarayan temple. Start your hiking from nagarkot village. Take the graveled road and local trail to changunarayan temple. You shall pass through the pine forests, terraces and the typical Villages. You can see the Bhaktapur Village very near to you and the beautiful Kathmandu Valley at the far distance from Changunarayan temple and the splendid view of the Himalayas on the way. Changunarayan temple is one of the oldest temples in the valley. It is said to have been built by King Hari Dutta in 323 AD. It has listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979. After visiting this temple we drive back to Kathmandu. This hike consists of about 4 hours walk.

ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrive in international airport in Kathmandu, transfer to selected Hotel Vaisali and rest of day personal activities.

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing and then overnight at hotel.

- Swoyambunath (monkey temple),
- Pashupatinath temple,
- Kathmandu durbar square ,
- Bouddhanath stupa.

Day 03: Nagarkot is a popular tourist hill of Nepal. It is situated 32 km east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2175m. We get up early in the morning. Your hiking guide and private car will come to pick you up in your hotel and then we will drive to Nagarkot hill. It takes one hour driving from Kathmandu. We may see great magnificent view of langtang himal,ganesh himal , mt manaslu,dorje lakpa,Annapurna Himalayan range and so many others mountains. The best sunrise view will pleasant. We will have breakfast in hotel view point after that we hike down to chagunarayan temple. It is interesting part of hiking. We follow many local village and people. We may observe local way of living. The terrace of rice and millet is amazing. It takes four hours hike from Nagarkot to get there. When we arrive in change narayan we have lunch there.
