When people started trekking in Nepal, camping trekking was the only option. It is still a great type of trek. We do camping trekking especially in remote areas where we can see the real life style of Nepalese people and we can access high pass trekking areas. This style is known as organized trekking. We have to carry all the trekking gear like food, tents, cooking equipment, and tents.   Many porters are needed to carry all the equipment. Camping trekking is still done in some specific areas like the Dhaulagiri round trek, Manaslu/ Larke pass trek, Rolwaling / Tashi Lapcha pass trek, Dolpo trek, and many other places.
